Not everyone is a fan of you.
Some will dislike & hate everything about you. Some will want you to fail. Some will talk about you, even when you are gone. All YOU should do, is brush it off and remember that there are people who love you — even when others don’t.
Don’t be afraid to try.
Remember this: you’ll miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
I don’t like being:
- hungry — husband knows this, and feeds me when I’m about to burst.
- in a place where I’m going to sweat — like being over +30c/90f outside.
- hot — seriously pisses me off. This can go with the above.
- put in awkward situations.
- caught in the middle.
- put in a situation where I should not even BE involved in.
- late.
- the last to know.
- on that special time of the month.
- unaware of what’s going on.
After talking to a good friend of mine today, I was reminded of what makes our friendship. We started off talking about music and our love for hip hop. It was that bond that lead us to talking about each other’s lives, what we wanted in our future, where we pictured ourselves down the road. Although our conversations weren’t everyday, they were always honest. This is why our friendship continued even after weeks/months/years of not talking. We are always able to pick up where we left off, without skipping a beat.
Complete honesty, continuing knowledge about each other’s lives, the constant knowing that they are there if you need someone to talk to, giving up their time & effort to reach out to you — I believe that with a bond like that, you can really call that a friendship
Appreciation usually comes when it is least expected, but always from a good place. Remember to tell the people around you that they are appreciated.
Stop complaining. Remember that you are blessed, all the time.
